The series 40 as chronometer is now offered at Guinand:
GUINAND - 40.50 04C.
I find very interesting the models in this series, including with regard to price - performance. Always a good alternative to the similar models in mind.
The current price for the chronometer, well must be decide every man for himself. doesn't look bad from the new. Would prefer but anyway sense. Thanks for the info. of course, other brands are interesting in the price range. But it pleases me to see that the Glashütte Observatory is also used.
It is not so, that there panerai price list already being a work will be considered, and not, as with the COSC, the naked works?
PS: The clock with Tots at 9, 6 and 3 would be worth considering. 900 euro only for the certificate? Beautiful, clear-to-read watch, without if and but.
The surcharge for the chronometer test let me however too swallow. Would I even be interested, what costs actually incurred. It is not only the exam alone. The 7750 in the normal Guinand I guess a as an elaboré, that will be probably at least top in the chronometer. In the Observatory chronometer testing is done contrary to the Swiss testing with the clock to housing, i.e. rain situation is more complex. What covers the watch me like it; an unpretentious, robust clock which has a through thick and thin goes. Only the digits easily cut by the Subdials on the ZB should not have been, but this is of course a matter of taste.
The chronometer surcharge for the purchase price however, is not really bad parents even if we consider the fact that then probably the highest quality of the Valjoux 7750 is installed.
Since then but also the highest level of quality and not Elaboré is installed. But I would have been more in the price range of sense. Charge 900 euros, I find also quite steep.
I was the sister model about 3 weeks ago in Rödelheim to me without looking at certificate. As Guinand-fan, I had to sadly realize that there no longer is the beautiful "steel volume 1" with matching round kick-off for the series of 20 and 40. Information on site: is expired and no longer available.
There is the "steel band 3" with straight kick-off now. This seemed to me cheap and as an emergency fix solution. I refrained from buying for this reason.
So just 2000 euros for a Chrono with certificate without reasonable steel band? I read here and there the threads still always excited. As a novice and "Wenigwisser", I would like to access the quoted terms likes. I read it that there apparently are qualities of the works. There is an overview of these steps - or rather just Elaboré and highest level? Am confused.
There is every factory in bad / good (layman terms)? Write no company does that...
I have over. just E-mail contact with the company. I like the 41 series models with 7751er work. Unfortunately, I live away 600 km from Frankfurt. My question, how to get there together was "Advance purchase" in case of doubt send back. I pointed out that the terms and conditions speak of payment on invoice after delivery. You is what is known in the practice?
